Why the forget does he need 3.3 million dollars anyway? It's a platformer. Hell Yooka Laylee's asking price was only £175,000. I don't think most of the money is going to go to the game. Schafers probably going to keep it for himself.

Yooka has a publisher. Games are expensive. Shenmue 3 was 2mill as its base goal and even then it has heavy backing from Sony anyway.

I hope this makes it. I love psychonauts...

Yooka Laylee is (from a design perspective) a much smaller platformer with more consistent art and gameplay. I believe the team working on that game is also smaller and newer.

Psychonaut's big thing is that each level has a radically different gameplay style and art style, which means they'll need more time and developers to pull it off. Double Fine is an established studio with multiple projects that has bigger overhead and thus needs more revenue to cover their bases.

If you wanted to sound like a richardhead, you've achieved that goal. Congratulations.

What exactly is wrong with Broken Age? Looks fine too me.
They ran out of money halfway through development, sold Part 1 to pay for Part 2, then Part 2's storyline and ending was a load of bullstuff. Double Fine should not be trusted with crowdfunding money.

If you think Schafer is going to do anything other than piss the money away then you're delusional. He asked for 400k for broken age and got 3.3 million and he still managed to piss it all away and make a stuff game as a result.

If the rewards weren't so high I'd probably pitch in.

I haven't played it or normally trust game reviewers but some of them are higher scores than Fallout 4 lol.

Which you seem to consider to be a terrible game.
Almost everything you post in the fallout 4 megathread is a "complaint" about the game, and you often repost said "complaint" if people ignore it.

If you actually did research, they released it in two parts. Those reviews probably reflect part 1, which was fine.

Do you remember Spacebase DF-9 and Broken Age Act 2?

I never got to play it but I remember reading about it in a magazine after it came out and wanting to get it real bad

Do you remember Spacebase DF-9 and Broken Age Act 2?
I played neither of these.
