Author Topic: Is there an open Blockland Teamspeak?  (Read 1334 times)

My friends (most who owned the game but didn't play it too often, none on the forums) and I went on Honno's Teamspeak once and awhile to use the general games room to talk instead of setting up a big steam or skype chat. Neither me or them can get on it now, but I was wondering if there's an open one with a general games room to use without taking up too much space on the server.

Yeah, domain name changed for reasons to include other games. Blockland is still the main one though.

ts.queeba.us is the one i'm on, and it's pretty good.

What happened to the old one?

Just changed domains, not the unofficial blockland team speak anymore.

Well that explains it.

I just wish Blockland had built in voice chat so nobody would have to be required to download teamspeak to chat, Its really the one thing I wanted aside from shader support.

It's probably possible.

Imagine a TDM mod that made it so that you could hear people on your team, however, if they were too far you'd hear their voice but it'd sound like it's from a radio.
Enemies could hear you but only if you're close enough to them.

I really wish it did too, it would add so much to the experience. The argument against it always seems to be "but then you'll constantly be spammed by young kids", but that's hardly an issue if it was an opt-in system.

Anyway ts.queeba.us is the best bl teamspeak.

Yeah but that would of been easily solved by it being an optional feature you can turn off and by adding a mute button in the player list (F2 Menu).

Imagine building and chatting instead of stopping from building to chat.
