I'm no musician myself, but Zombie to be frank a lot of your songs seem to lack structure; rather there isn't much to hold everything together, instead everything is like a separate riff or segment with no emulsifier to meld it together. All of your songs typically feature build up, but I feel like all the segments are build up, which results in a build up to nothing really. Because you change how the song is each segment there isn't a lot of space for a notable tune to stick out or remember. I can't really explain what I mean with words and since I have no idea about music theory I just kinda played with your songs until it seemed more like a typical song, I hope you don't mind.
not that great but w/e
Here's my edit of it.This song to me sounded a bit more like a techno song. I lowered the pitch for cyan1 because I couldn't really stand it, that's just me personally since high pitches bother me.
bump?
Here's my edit of it.This song reminded me more of an action-y kind of score, like a James Bond thing, so I tried to make it more so. Both of these also sound a bit better in triples.
i'm gettin better at this i think
Here's my edit of it.This one is probably your best one, it had a "the gangs all getting ready for a fight against some ghosts" kind of vibe, I just rearranged it mostly.
There's probably someone better who can explain why a fair number of people aren't the biggest fans of your songs, I just hope that some of these examples are A. helpful and B. right to a general audience. Don't give up, you have the potential to make pretty cool songs; like Bob Ross said, anyone can do it, just work on the structure and the tune.
