Author Topic: An Uber driver with a concealed handgun prevented a mass shooting in Chicago  (Read 5618 times)

I've been to the US. Many more times than you've left your country. I've been up north, west coast, east cosst, and the south. The vast majority are loving morons and complain about everything, yell "god bless america" under the slightest achievement and blame the immigrants for the slightest issue.

And although this Uber guy did what was right, it would've confuced the police, causing interference.
ive been to america twice and i know for a fact that what you just said is a load of bollocks mate

I never said that weapons could only be obtained via legal means but closing those legal means for non military will give you the certainy that it was obtained illegally.
Common sense would be the last thing an american would have after reading the paper on recent sueing.
out of everything you've said in this thread this annoyed me the most

It would be useful if you had to get a psych evaluation, at least for some weapons.
imo anything more than a pistol or basic rifle should require that
i dont know why the CDC would be investigating gun violence that sounds weird

yes you personally know me and my whereabouts enough to tell me that you've been here more times than i've left my country
what are you doing
sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about and you are again generalizing
i dont remember hearing someone say god bless america in the last year, what did you go to Kentucky or something?

this although i dont visit i live here

banning guns as a whole is really stupid
but the fact that anyone can get one even if they're a mentally ill sociopath is not okay

am i the only one confused as to why the person didnt shoot the uber driver first? weird . .

By banning guns you are banning guns obtained legally through the system.

There are far more people with illegal guns and they aren't being regulated because their gun is off the grid.

I've been to Florida, New York, California, Virginia, Alabama, Washington DC, Kentucky, Texas, Missisipi, Maine, and South Dakota.

The most places I've heard bullstuff was in Kentuky and Texas.

I'm pretty sure that most criminals don't go through the legal process of obtaining a gun, so by restricting people going through that same process, you're literally doing forget all to stop shootings from happening.

Edit: Think about this for a minute. Why have a police force if you're going to let your citizens defend themselves?

yeah no you really do have no loving idea what you're talking about, the police dont just shoot up people when they break the law, they uphold the law entirely and deal with public issues, along with keep the public in order.

again, the police are no omnipresent and can not control everything, are you seriously assuming that when someone breaks into my house, i will cower and call the police and wait for them to get here, instead of grabbing my colt and taking matters into my own hands?

kentucky and texas are obviously like this, even other americans laugh at them

To put it simply, because citizens aren't typically completely educated in law enforcement and that there's still law to be enforced. The world isn't black and white, people owning guns doesn't nullify the need to have law enforcement and nobody here has implied that. If anything, every time you threw out the "Americans are dumb" line it just made yourself look dumber.

If there's a question to be asked, it's why anyone here should bother refuting your stupid argument if all you're going to do is be dismissive and insultory.

I'm a Kentuckian and I don't hear that much bullstuff, where the hell did you go?

Pistols definitely, because they can be easily concealed. Rifles, perhaps.

The CDC is somewhat misnamed because it deals with public health, rather than solely on diseases.
