So, it seems like people aren't joining because of the ProjectE mod making everything easier. My issue is that I actually like using the mod. I'll just say this:
You don't have to use ProjectE. You can progress in the game the hard way without using the mod if you wish, I'm not forcing you to use the mod yourself. While it may be tempting to use it, just try and resist that temptation.
Edit: Actually, does anyone know of any ProjectE alternatives that are pretty much nerfed versions of it?

MineChem: Technologically-based replacement for ProjectE without power flowers, which dramatically reduce playtime.

Also, another mod that you don't have to pay attention to if you don't want.
NuclearCraft: Reactors mod that's less powerful (read: OP) than BigReactors, and is more difficult.

Edit: New poll. I will also release the current map if the majority votes Yes, so don't worry about losing all your progress.

I don't like Project E because of the OP weapons/armor which basically make you immortal.

The problem with Flans was that I tried to use the modern weapons pack, and the server would crash and the world would become unplayable when I tried to place a helicopter. I have Quiverbow to compensate.

I downloaded most of the mods (a couple don't have 1.7.10 versions), and I'm going to test them right now.
