Author Topic: The Isle - that one game that bought models from that other game (also dinos)  (Read 4100 times)

Okay so i think some of you are familiar with this game:

well it turned out to be merely a cash grab and got taken off steam, then strange thing is that the lead dev never payed for the most recent dinosaur models, so the creator still owned them technically. Around the same time a new dino game was just being developed, and needed models. So they bought the models and now they own them in their new game:

"The Isle"

Video here

the game is different from other dino survival games so far in that you can actually BE the dinos, along with the native cannibals, and the rangers (also maybe foreign mercenaries idk) only dinos are ingame atm

The dinosaurs ingame:
Austroraptor
Trex
Shantungosaurus
Puertasaurus
Gallimimus
Carnotaurus

They also have several skins that can be used to customize your dino

pretty pics:

(shantungosaurus ^)

all above dinos are ingame

(Quetzecoatlus ^ confirmed, just not ingame)

theres gonna be mod support down the line so maybe???

Looks pretty disappointing to me. The standard copy and paste type of survival game with a few unique features.
