I closely follow Gabenism myself.

I can say that Mormonism is not Christian except by surface appearance, and Mormons are the only group that asserts they are Christian; all other christian groups reject Mormonism as a religious cult. Their actual beliefs are very different from Christianity (eg. god is an alien of flesh and bone from another planet, the denial of the trinity, jesus is not god and is instead satan's brother, the practice of baptism for the dead in secluded mormon temples, that heaven has 3 levels, and only super-faithful mormons who know all the secret temple passwords get to go to the top level).
There's a pretty serious hypocrisy in your criteria here.

I was brought up with two religions: Lutheranism and Judaism. In Jewish law, your mother must be Jewish to be considered a Jew, and my dad is the one who is Jewish so therefore I'm not really considered to be a Jew. I never was Bar Mitzvah'd either. I don't believe in a god, however I respect others who do and it is not my duty to tell others what they should and shouldn't believe in.

If I had to belong to a religion though, I'd probably become a non-denominational Quaker. If someone asks me what I am though, then I just say I'm a Jew.

Also Zionism is not a religion, it's a belief that some Jewish people believe that Israel is the homeland for us. It's relatively new as well, which started in the early 20th century. As someone who considers himself to be a Jew in a cultural sense, I do not support Israel in regards to it being an exclusively Jewish-state, as that is just racism. Especially since most religions consider Israel to be their "homeland", namely Islam and Christianity. Then again, Muslims and Christians are free to practice whatever religion they want in Israel, even 20% of the Israeli Knesset is Muslim which says a lot. While the intent of some of Israel's first Jewish settlers was to create a Jewish homeland and that does imply racism, that is most certainly not the case as Israel is pretty much a religiously-balanced society.

I know it would take a lot of work but please organize that poll alphabetically.

Non religious but I have beliefs that I mostly keep to myself about.

how so?

atheism, though i was raised as a lutheran
also there are not three buddhists here

i really hate it when people just massively stereotype Christians and Catholics
srsly stop and learn that not all of the people who follow Christianity are super crazy religious

I believe that so long as you're a good person and kind to others, it doesn't matter what religion you follow, or if you don't follow one at all. I'm agnostic because I can't put my full faith in a god existing, yet i can't fully believe one doesn't either. I typically just don't worry about it as it affects so little in my life

I am an athiest and I will say why but beforehand I must say something. These are my opinions and though they may offend you they are not proven fact and you can disregard completely if you know it to not be true.

I personally see most religions as a cult that drives people to insanity. Salem witch trials were the killing of innocent people because they were "hell spawn".  Or the radical islamics (aka terrorists) that decide they need to kill themselves to get 72 virgins. Is that rational thinking?

Imo most religions are only around because people can't fathom that you just die and it is game over.

Don't take offense, I have my beliefs and you have yours.

it just doesn't seem plausible to me that there's a magic giant who created the universe so i go the non-believer route
religions were made to explain the unexplainable but now we have a better means of explaining what couldn't be before

That's a great philosophy and I respect that a lot. I too believe that if someone doesn't use their religion to commit atrocities, then it's alright with me.

That's the thing about heaven. It was created because people don't like the idea of you get 1 life and that's it.

It was also created because people don't like the idea of not seeing their loved ones ever again.

The idea of a god to be behind all of creation is just too mundane of an idea for me to get behind

I'm an atheist in the way that it's just more convincing that the universe's creation is more stupid and crazy than "A god did it"

A refuse to vote, since atheism is not a religion/faith.
