i dont understand why people want tombland
it really isn't as fun as it looks lol
it does get old reallllyy quickly mostly because blockland's combat is really poor, and you'd just wind up hiding in a corner spamming spells at the enemies to kill them
besides there really wasn't much more to it than that
gather biggerer loot and kill even more damage spongey enemies

this looks way more promising and much more interesting, visually and on the actual gameplay side

besides, this seems to be a more refined version of tombland's system, so i doubt releasing the old version is part of his interests

she might be a bit too hard at the moment but shes fun to fight against, keeps you on your toes.

blocklands combat really ends up making alot of things really really super stuff, the melee combat especially. Its so goddamn stuffty that its either luck or who can hit the most, the dual pack is horrid for this

a big problem right now is the build because its kinda hard to make it look complete





how could i close up the mountains or like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
just making them taller until the view distance prevents from you seeing more makes it look kinda dumb

also while i feel like im building fast the progress isnt really that fast

i think i just started the terrain too detailed and now cant downgrade it to make it faster cos i dont want to destroy the progress

and idk maybe it should be an open area instead of these mountain things but sdfgyhijokopkbijnok

maybe close them up so theyre at a peak kinda but lower the detail at parts you wont be able to get to/far away parts?

i run into the same issues whenever i give terrain a shot

open areas kinda suck without constraints, otherwise you lose control of the player, or they become overwhelmed with the freedom and end up quitting out of the sheer lack of purpose.

ironically the more freedom you introduce to the player, the less inclined they feel to complete anything
