yea, it's not like it's a Hollywood contract

Just cause he doesn't break any rules or go by what's right doesn't mean he not wrong.

Why are people still going on about this loving raffle? Quit grasping for straws

b-b-b-but the fine print!

"I'm going to enter a give-a-way to get a FREE game. Read rules? I don't care enough." You could have easily quoted to see, copied it over, or made your screen larger. It's the same thing as a disclaimer in many other give-a-ways, products. People don't do it to be a richard. People put it there as a rule.  You're really clawing for reasons to dislike him lol
When people read the rules of something, the idea you suggested to buy a larger screen just in case the only important rule is intentionally hidden in small text doesn't come across most people's heads.

One side is continuing this argument just as much as the other side.

Even putting aside the fact that it's fine print, it's still an extremely arbitrary, unnecessary, and stupid rule.
I'd really like this thread to go back to being about the fallout 4 thread now, but probably not before one last "but it's free!!!"

i feel bad for blockchip
hes arguing and im sure more people would support him but they dont want to get involved because of the loving hostility

But lord tony hid a rule in small print

I don't know what to say. If you people can't read fine print to a free raffle then you're not going to read fine print on life.

"fine print" is deceptive, whether you're a business or someone trying to pretend to be generous on a video game forum
nobody cares that you had the rule. except maybe blockchip. the problem is that you deliberately hid the rule
rules like that are used to keep it fair. so that if someone doesn't claim it in that amount of time, someone else can have a chance at getting it. but it doesn't seem like you gave it away to anyone else. it almost seems like you created the rule just to save a little money if someone didn't claim theirs

and then you turn around and call standard practices "sneaky" because you don't know what the word "subscription" means

All the games were pre bought lol. I haven't saved anything.

I got my 50 dollars back from Playstation because of an issue that was their fault.

Also the lootcrate I didn't want also finished my last minute christmas shopping that I was never intending to do anyways.

I still come out on top.

Then why do you have the rule?
What possible purpose does having that rule serve and why would you intentionally hide it?

On top of what?
Nobody's hosting a competition.
Nobody's pointed at you and said "ha ha tony lost 50 dollars and got a crate he didn't want"

Then why do you have the rule?

24 hours is a generous amount of time to contact me.

Maybe because he doesn't want to sit around for days on end waiting to give someone a free game key? Come on man it's simple problem solving. Put the pieces together yourself.

i didn't say BUY a larger screen. or CTRL+SCROLL WHEEL. super easy and super quick lmao. If that doesn't come across people's heads then that's their fault. It's not on tony that they dont know how to read. If someone buys a product or enters a give-a-way, it's up to them to read any disclaimers! :)

you also seem to have this problem with rules. not knowing tony's rule. Not knowing about badspot's dismissal rule. Do you just have some problem finding rules?
