Author Topic: I need help making an army man replica.  (Read 1962 times)

I'm trying to make an Army man replica for my toy store, it's not going so well. It's not easy to build, if someone knows how to make a decent one I will appreciate it. It has to be about 10 bricks high or less.

Also if possible, maybe just turn it into an actual brick because I don't see how we can build this and make it look good.

This is what I'm going for.

These are failed abominations.

The one with the skull is horrifying. It begs to be killed.

I need something with actual limbs.

Well if you have it, the small bricks addon would be useful for things like this.

Default only.

Default only.
You'd be willing to put it in if it was made into an actual brick. So why not put in an already existing brick pack to make it?

Because that would be a cosmetic brick.

I do not accept custom bricks for core building. If someone saves my build or whatever at least the build isn't broken because only cosmetic bricks were lost.

style concerns

lord tony has some stringent style concerns
smallbricks would not fit with the current build style so that's likely why
his decision to use a custom brick soldier would be contingent on the style of the model fitting with/reflecting default.

looks like he answered it for me

also personally i don't think smallbricks will solve the problem with the helmets or arms. it will almost certainly come out looking way too detailed compared to the rest of the toy store builds.

And a model wouldn't?

no?

Now if only someone can do something like that but make it look like an army man on a plastic stand.

Style is also an issue with me too. Custom bricks makes builds look drastically different. I'm trying to keep everything relatively blocky looking.

That playertype not only looks terrible it has too many polys. There is a reason I never used it since day 1.
