Author Topic: Shaders for Intel HD graphics?  (Read 2170 times)

I have a Intel PC, and the only shaders I can run are Minium.
I want the shadows, so I'm wondering if anyone made one yet.

some intel graphics can run shadows (not very well, however). try updating the drivers by going on intels website and choosing your card

your intel would blow up anyways lol

I can run shadows on my 4000 but I don't even bother as I get like 10 FPS on draw distance at 100

Yea as much as its not worth it, you can run them by simply updating the driver.

if you're on windows 8, you can update to windows 10 and the driver will also update as well, automatically

the shadows may not work very well in terms of just playing with them on all the time, but they'll work well enough to take pictures. don't try anything along the lines of soft shadows though (except hata's shader toggle: custom low is good) or else you'll murder your GPU.

I have Intel as well but my GeForce GTX driver takes over aaa

what about perf. shadows? and maybe FPS?

perf. shadows?? not sure what you're talking about there.

i run on a laptop bought in Jan 2015, exact specs i can post on request. Suffice it to say it's not the best of rigs, but gets the job done when it comes to most games.

FPS on max shaders without soft/whatever is about 5 for 50k bricks or something idrk
FPS on minimum/off with 200k bricks is about 28
low is playable until like 30k bricks, at which a noticable graphics delay starts to appear. no fps drops till it gets higher, though.

i generally just play on minimum and have no issues, and switch to shadows only for images. I can still move around to pose the shadows while they're running, but FPS is pretty bad so its not very playable.

performance shaders in client_shadertoggle

And also will these work?

no. no no no NO NO NO

post processor and ram specs

but from that dialog screen im going to just guess that you have an extra old computer and thus would not benefit from any driver update. that ui looks like WinXP, ancient

it's win7 lol

it's win7 lol

independently, intel HD is the stufftiest GPU I have ever touched at. shaders and shadows are a no for you. go buy a better GPU or computer.
