Author Topic: How do you like your wings (sauced)?  (Read 1473 times)

I can't do buffalo wild wings anymore
I used to go to one pretty much once or twice a week. But they starting getting skimpy on the amount of sauce they gave you, to the point there was just as much unsauced wing showing and there was sauced wing. And the breading on the boneless wings was going past crispy and into crunchy/hard

When i found a different place, I didn't look back

*shuns*

damn that really sucks. my local bww loads you up with the sauce, it's great.

i've had better wings at bars in chicago though.

Nah, like I said I found a better place.

IMO chains are nice for road trips, because you know what you'll get. But when you live somewhere (, or have time to research whats around your travel area), you can almost always find better food from local places.

what kind of poll is this

we should be able to select multiple options

why must you subject me to the torture of only being able to pick 1

I can't handle spicy food so probably plain. I haven't tried many sauces for wings so I'm not sure.

Why does everyone assume wings have to be spicy?

i love spicy food

it clears out my sinuses and helps me feel like a real man

i went and bought a bottle of texas pete hot sauce and my family members (they all hate spicy food) looked at me like i was crazy

As the man from Buffalo, NY here I've come to tell you you all don't know stuff about wings.

That said I usually go BBQ when not getting classic vinegar and hot pepper and piss flavor.

What?
A bad joke about "wings" i guess

I like spicy food if the spice actually adds something to the flavor
I have no interest in heat for the sake of it; things like hot pepper challenges and insanely hot sauces.
Unfortunately some of my family members think I'm the latter, and I have a few of those stupidly hot sauces I got as gifts just sitting unused
Sure, I mix a tiny bit into something like chili, but I usually just use fresh peppers instead

yeah exactly, i like it when a spice/sauce adds flavor. sure the spiciness is good but its only nice if its also got some real flavor to it.

on that note would you or anyone else be able to recommend some flavorful/tasty spicy sauces to get? preferably ones i could find just in the grocery store or pharmaceutical store.
