my grandparents, on the other hand, had the grand idea to actually let me pick out the clothes they bought for me. so I got just what I wanted from them
most of the rest of what I got is clothes, money, or gift cards. and some candy. and an alex cross book, which hopefully i will find the time to read eventually
but my sister frickin bought me a couple of stuffed animals. I got her GTAV. that's not quite an """equivalent exchange""" but they're frickin cute so I'm happy

I didn't get my mom anything. I almost feel bad about it but then again my moms a richardhead so whatever. she's mad about it too. like if she was sad or something then ok that's reasonable but nope she's mad
