Character Name: Xexal
Overlay Color: Violet
Backstory: A demon who has roamed the surface ever since the apocalypse began. Unlike other demons, who seek to kill or devour humans, he takes interest in them. He has stayed out of sight, brown townyzing them, observing them, and at the same time, perfecting his own survival skills against the monsters that roam the world. His past interacting with other humans have been met with hatred and attempts at his own life. As such, he's developed a slowly growing dislike for humanity.
He does not smile often, and is more self-centered, in some cases often preferring to save his own life then someone elses. Do not mistake him for being a cold-hearted individual, he may show a softer, more sentimental side and protect a human if it is the only thing that keeps them from dying.
He is a master craftsman, making various tools and weapons fashioned from scrap and other resources he discovers while travelling, as well as clad in a special armor that does not appear human in origin, it's defensive potential borders on line with human metals such as Steel, but provides more natural defense against the elements, allowing Xexal to survive in sweltering heat, or freezing temperatures as if it's nothing.
His primary weapon is mostly his wits, fashioning weapons or traps out of his environment, however in a nasty situation, he will pull out a small Short-Sword, made of a similar material as his armor, to directly engage an opponent. His demonic nature makes him more difficult to kill compared to a human, but he is still capable of dying.
However, he has one significant downside. His demonic nature makes him a living beacon for the monsters of the world to home in on, because of this, he tends to be attacked much more frequently compared to the humans. He is also more prone to attracting a demon to his location. This makes having him as an ally a risky, but potentially rewarding endeavor.
(Sorry for the large backstory, but i kind of go nuts with this kind of stuff)
If possible, i would prefer a less direct introduction, like for example, maybe he drops out of a vent at a prime time. Something that would reflect on his more "outside the box" style.
