I don't see what's wrong with making money by doing research? Lots of people do it, male and female. People need to make money in one way or another, I don't see how that makes them scum of the Earth for doing something that is probably one of the most human things we have.

these people make more money than the average joe for doing something that takes no effort and contributes nothing to society. at least people that shovel stuff have a purpose in life and contribute to society.

Sure they can make tons of money for it, you can argue celebrities make more than most people and they don't do anything too. There are lots of ways to make money with not much effort. Do you hold grudges on people who are better off than you?
I also find it funny you're talking about loveworkers and researchstars like they're human turds, yet you and everyone else in the population watches research. They help people get their rocks off, including yours. Doesn't make sense to me to hate on someone who does research when you yourself watch research.
