| Amethyst is rough, rude, and dirty, and tends to be somewhat less mature than the other Gems. She loves to eat, even if she doesn't need to, and likes to transform into various creatures and shapes. Her Gem weapon is a whip studded with sharp crystals, and her gem is located on her chest. | | Garnet is the de facto leader of the Crystal Gems. Calm-minded and stable, she is able to keep cool under pressure. She's also very powerful, using her powerful gauntlets to punch her way through enemies (and whatever else is in the way). Her gems are located on her hands, and she always wears a visor over her eyes. | | Pearl is an absolute perfectionist, and obsesses over order. She is also fairly intelligent, and prides herself in her ability to think through situations and find a solution. As a skilled fighter, Pearl uses her spear to strike her enemies. Her gem is located on her forehead. | | Steven is the main protagonist of the show, and the youngest member of the Crystal Gems. Steven's mother, Rose Quartz, gave up her physical form to create Steven as a half-human, half-gem hybrid. Steven is extremely extroverted and prefers diplomacy over violence to solve problems. Steven can summon a shield from his gem located on his belly. |
