This show is really declining in quality, I'm just going to drop it if it continues to attempt to be a slice of life show, because the SOL episodes are really bland and boring. Also, the art style is declining in quality. Those two things make the show really annoying to watch, and not to mention the art style shifts like twice every 5 minutes in one episode. Don't even get me started on the horrible scheduling.

seems like those slice of life episodes are about to pay off. can't abduct everyone and expect viewers to care if they're just random side characters that haven't been developed at all

They're building a world, and it won't seem nearly as fleshed-out unless they cover topics that don't directly pertain to the ~lore~ and the main arc of the series. People always make this complaint whenever the show is winding down from plot and covering lighter topics.
