this shows getting bad....................
they're trying to manage the interest curve of the show, but the spotty airing schedule makes it more frustrating and less effective. if episodes were regularly aired and nearly every episode was highly engaging and climactic, the show as a whole would be worse off for it. but, when you go months between episodes, you're artificially creating low points in the interest curve without even writing them in (and the writers obvs can never predict this since it's dependent on CN's erratic scheduling), so it really just amplifies things when the episodes aren't as interesting. just wait for the bomb and see what happens, we're obvs about to get moving again. that being said, i think the writers probably could have done a better job than they have with pacing the show, but hey, it's tough work
