I meant what did he want to do besides writing essays. It did specify in the OP that you did have to make speeches, did it not?

it doesn't actually

many of the mechanics need reworks and retools to make the thread more than just endless pages of cookie cutter speeches. will consult trist, tonight was a bit of a clusterforget for me

What about libertarian party OP?

The rest of the world just calls those liberals
In the US, we call them libertarians because our liberals are more socialist, making them economically center-left.

Alright. Today I'll do some debates, I have a bill planned. For now, though, I have to go to school.

Yeah I think I'll be resigning.  I side with CypherX.  Unless the prominent mechanic of having to write multiple short essays a day in order to even have a chance at winning is modified, then it's not worth the thought.

Additionally, it's hard to tell what you're going for.  It seems like a lot of it is micro-scale, but there's this strange dependency on a macro-scale-type gameplay.  It's sort of straddling the fence, and I can't tell what approach I'm supposed to take.

Thanks for starting something like this.  It belongs here and I hope it's going to go well.

I actually thought it was going to be like your old RP with a country and its districts.

The next day, 3:45 PM

Scott walks up to the stage to look at the crowd(s?) of people waiting for him, he feels like he’s being judged and has always been anxious about himself. Anyways, he starts his speech: “Hello, fellow Agrosphereians, today I wish to tell you how I wish to make The Agrosphere a more efficient, more Durable, Nation. If I am voted for MP, then President, I will make to where Death-Row inmates unused finance will go to upgrading our Police-Force, thus lowering taxes, as long as the Death-Row inmate has no will giving their money to a relative/friend. It may sound barbaric to you, but it will make the civilians of the Agrosphere’s lives much easier. It could help families struggling to survive due to taxes at the time. I also wish to make it possible for more 1st-Degree killers to be put on death-row, which will also go to Upgrading our Police-Force. I will also use vacant island off the coast of Austrailia into walled, heavily defended, prison camps to reduce the space of our already packed prisons. I hope you all will vote for me, this is Scott Y’naaz and goodbye!"
What the hell did you expect?
Results of speech pls.

I don't really understand why several parties are arbitrarily split (green and agrarian, people's and nationalist [perhaps], communist and socialist, etc.) either. the parties parenthesized are destined to form coalitions because of their aligned interest, so why even bother separating them at all

well considering most people are either not participating or worrying and I haven't gotten any concrete suggestions yet, is this even worth continuing?

I mean I put a bunch of work into it but only like 3 people are even bothering

EDIT: probably no update today, I have quite a bit of homework and won't have my laptop tonight (I don't have a desktop)
plus I need to rework some of the mechanics

because these parties have fundamentally different goals, even if they are temporarily aligned or similar on a surface level. I'll admit it's not a perfect reason, but I wanted some extra variety

Bell continues training in the military, hopefully she'll be deployed in Syria by late 2022.

You shouldn’t take this down, in a way it kind of helps people learn about politics (well not really but you know what I mean) not to mention it’s really fun. I think the reason people are re-sighning is because you don’t really give us much news on events to talk about, also there should be a few more parties to choose from because the current parties seem a bit dull.
