OK THE TAB CLOSED OUT AND THE WHOLE SPEECH DISAPPEARED LET'S DO THIS AGAIN
George Brooks, as well as his family members and a few friends, put up flyers advertizing a speech he'll give in the ballroom of the Oxford Hotel, in Denver.
Now imagine that some time has passed.
Brooks walks on to the stage. He straightens his tie.
"Friends, neighbors, countrymen, as you all know, our nation has for too long been plagued by incompetence. This incompetence emanates mostly off of our leader, Ronald Krump: a man whose intelligence piqued in grade school. He is blatantly tribal, loveist, and bigoted toward every world view but his own. This is a man who has deeply involved us in a war that should never have involved us at all; a campaign against Muslim terrorists who are not a threat to us. Maybe, four years ago, it might have been deemed necessary, but at this time there is no reason for us to continue our endeavors there. Despite this he continues to fund our military much higher than it ever need be. More and more with every passing year. He is a man who pushes the boundaries of his powers laid out for him in our nation's constitution, passing into law things that no one agreed upon but himself.
Since the day he took office, he has whittled away at every single civil liberty imaginable. He does not see the citizens of the Anglosphere as individual people, but rather as a unit of measurement. They're just a population to him. A population that can be deceived and mended to his will. One that will fight his battles for him. This is not how I see the people in this nation. Every one of you is an independent human being with a full set of human rights. You're capable of laying out your own future. You don't need the government to coddle you, to tell you what you think is right or wrong. The people of the Anglosphere are more highly educated than anywhere else on Earth. We deserve to be the freest, as well.
I believe we should take our men; your children, your spouses, your best friends; out of Syria. Bring them back to safety. There is no reason for us to fight a war, and I'll say it first, a war against Russia, in Syria. It's hurting our economy, it's hurting our international relations, and it's hurting the citizens of our nation. And even though most people support pulling out of the war, our government keeps us in. Is that not the antithesis of democracy? Isn't it "We, the People" who should decide what happens to us? Isn't it "We, the People" who should decide what's best for ourselves and our nation? Of course it is. It is "We, the People" who should be able to affect what happens to the world around us and I think that that, and not big, strict government, is the key to success for our country. Thank you, and goodnight. "
