IT'S TIME TO CALL THIS FROM THE DEAD
but do i have to start as independent or something and then get my party relevant
or can i just jump right in with it
you can found the party but realistically such a new party would have a hard time getting support, it takes many years to pick up momentum
as i said, it might be easier as an independent (plus I already have all my stuff set up for 10 parties, though it won't be too hard to set up another)

it would also throw a kink in party loyalty, which would basically be infinity

i think you should wait if/until you're elected as an MP and then found it

second thing

second thing
in the recent OP overhaul i mention this
you can start as a party member, but you won't be an official until you get 20 loyalty (which should be pretty easy with speeches or bribes, though bribery can be discovered)
at 50 you are added to the MP list
at 100 you become the party leader (unless another player has more)

I have a few ideas for lobbies. Lobbies could act like lesser parties RP wise, and suggest bills, lobby, or bribe to further their own ends. A few ideas, could be expanded upon for complexity, but for sheer simplicity here it is;

Corporate - Actions tend to work towards economic deregulation, profit protection, and to increase corporate influence in the Government. Corporate wins if government is subverted entirely.

Labor Union/Consumer Protection - Actions tend to further worker's rights and consumer protection. Cannot win.

[?] Conservative Social Interests - Actions tend to further conservative social stances.

[?] Liberal Social Interest - Actions tend to further left wing social stances.

[?] Military - Pressures from military arms and industries. Actions tend to further military involvement in conflicts.

Yeah, I think I've got this. Thanks though. How it's going to work is I'm going to just PM people or post with occasional lobbying offers, in exchange for money. There might be blackmailing, too. For example:

"A local arms corporation is willing to pay you a sum of $50,000 in exchange for voting yes on the upcoming bill and convincing your party to do the same. While this cash is nice and all and can be used to buy some yachts or votes, keep in mind that this runs a risk of discovery and inciting a debate within your party might cause a hit to loyalty."
   - or -
"An anonymous organization has sent you a letter, and they inform you that they have some... scandalous information about you. They are willing to make a deal: propose the enclosed deal, or they will publish the information and your popularity might drop drastically. [insert bill]"

under government, it's mentioned that the Anglosphere is at war in Syria with Assad, terrorists, and to some extent Russia

FYI since people are still joining and it hasn't been a full day, time is sort of "stopped." tomorrow will still be 2020
