Author Topic: Notice: serverstatus.pecon.us will be migrated to serverstatus.block.land  (Read 2434 times)

If you use the server status image script (Which was originally made by Destiny/Zack0Wack0) which I host on my website, I'd encourage you to switch your links over from serverstatus.pecon.us to serverstatus.block.land, as I will eventually take down the script from pecon.us.

To make your own status images, simply visit http://serverstatus.block.land/ and a guided form will load.

The script will remain available on pecon.us for at least a few more months, this will give everyone time to switch their links over.

As another reminder, I am always offering free subdomains on block.land for any Blockland-related sites or services. Just PM me.

Are you eventually gonna relocate anything else over to block.land, like Blocknet for instance, or just this?

I don't see any particular reason to get rid of the BlockNet domain. The reason I'm moving this is just because my managed hosting provider for pecon.us is a complete ass and now that I know how to manage my own webservers I don't need to rely on them nearly as much. Eventually I want to move pecon.us off of managed hosting.

i still love that domain name hahaha

How do you even properly generate stats with a non dedicated server? How do you even generate it at all?

Do method 1 with your actual in game name

Bump, just because this should probably get a little more attention. I still see most places using pecon.us.

I could probably use a domain for my servers

If you want like an A record pointed directly to something, pm me the IP address. Otherwise I can just do a web redirect to your URL.

Similar to FreeDNS?

Yes, basically. Except that I'm doing it specifically for block.land.

You could overlay warning messages on the statuses on the old server to reach more people.

I have added a footnote to images on the old domain. I will still keep the script up for a few more months.

i'm confused on how to use this, how do i get the IP Address? and do i have to have a dedicated server? if i do have to use a dedicated server, how do i get one? i want to make a dedicated server for my new film making clan, Golden Block Productions.
