It'd be amazing to become an astronomer some day, working for one of the big space agencies of the world.
If that doesn't work out, then I might be able to fall back on journalism.

I'm still more or less undecided, though.

BOTTOM OPTION OR BUST
quick switch the options on the poll

Electrical Engineer
Computer Engineer/Computer Scientist
Physicist

I like math and computers a bit too much.

on another note it's kind of my dream job to work for breitbart so I forgot about journalism

-engineer
-navy submarine pro for 4 years
-no college debt now
-attend art school in singapore

i'd get into programming if the 4 years I've taken of computer "science" classes actually taught me anything.
like it seems like it's a loving plague that there's stuff computer science teachers. in 4 years of taking these classes all i've learned is basic html
you don't need a class for it. there are so many places on the internet to learn that stuff
I've only ever tried taking a class in school for it once. the teacher kept talking about all the stuff we'd do in the year, and eventually said, "if you're a senior, you might get to learn javascript at the end of the year"
and it was the only class they had for it. so I switched it for something else. I already knew javascript. and now I know even more, all learned on my own time

it probably goes without saying now that my most promising career option is programming. idk what I wanna do, more specifically, though

This, programming classes are basically made for people with virtually no experience with computers. I've basically done major projects for a college senior despite having never taken a class myself. It only took me two or three hours, because it was literally just a console program.

no yeah definitely I've learned way more through the internet than I have through the actual class, but it's still kind of annoying that this course (which I can't switch out of or else I'll get dropped from every class I have, and i really like all of my other classes) prevents me from taking a useful elective. i'd like to be learning in a class that's required, y'know?

my school has a programming class I think probably I mean I'm in it right now
for a super stuffty school I'm surprised they have this
