thats understandable and perfectly fine, but in a world where homoloveuality is becoming more and more accepted, is "empowerment" really necessary? I mean i think the case where a Christian bakery that denied to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple ended up getting fined 135,000 dollars and were ordered to "cease and desist" from elaborating on their wishes to not support LGBT rights is pretty hard evidence that homoloveuals aren't really on the back foot anymore.
I may dislike those who are overly-flamboyant, but it is wrong to believe gay marriage being legalized means that everyone suddenly accepts gays. Keep in mind that it is only really legalized in the US, Canada (not sure about the UK and AUS) and a couple of European nations. In most of the world, being homoloveual is frowned upon mostly - even in many parts of America, despite gay marriage being legalize nationwide here.
