I just learned today that ze/zy/zo/zum is a real thing. Also I learned demiloveual is a real thing.
Demi loveual is when You need an emotional bond with someone before you're loveually attracted to them. Meaning, someone who is demi-loveual doesn't want nor care about love with people unless its with someone they care about, so one night stands and friends with benefits and all that are out of the picture. I'm like that, so I'm demi-loveual. The word exists mostly as a way to explain these varrying loveualities, because I always thought I was weird for not caring about love in the slightest. Now, there's a word and definition, and others who are also this way. its comforting, in a way.
hope that explains that one at least. the others are the same way, they're there to help explain the different ways people feel. They were made because its easier to say "oh you're demiloveual" than it is to explain it all out each time. Thats how language works.
admittedly, some make absolutely no sense, like otherkin for example. But, really, who are you to tell them they're wrong? are they really bothering you that much? is it so hard to avoid them or simply humor them and move on?
