i've had the problem before, talking to some friends about it helped quite a bit

Let out your depression via creative means.

Make music? Make a sad song or two.

Draw? Paint? Paint something sad or emotional.

Write? Same as the above, except with writing.

Just express your sorrow in some kind of form, but don't repress it.

how to deal with depression my way: get sad
then just shrug it off, nothing in life is really a big deal unless it forgets with your later life

the real best way though, really is just to listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68JQtxTzjqc

if he has depression do you think saying something rude about depressed people is gonna make him feel better?
if it was just a general depression megathread i wouldn't mind, but hes asking for help. So saying something bad about them "i hate it when they make it other peoples problem" when he's asking for help, doesn't it sound like your targeting him?

no it really doesn't at all
