you depress me
what about your nose? what part is that from?

infernal robotics adds structural parts nowadays

any ideas on how to lug a 156 ton (no engines) spaceship into space?
pictures:

before i removed the engines

bomb bay

the thing on top is a docking port for modules

you could try to hook it up to a massive rocket by using KAS and having a kerbal go on EVA to hook it

jesus christ

at that point i would go get one of those mods that adds 5m diameter rocket parts, and i'd asparagus it to space

what juncoph said
this might sound ridiculous but if you do get the 5m rocket parts go ahead and use like maybe 4 of the default large ass boosters in radial with 10 of them on each side and have the main rocket be 5m
also if you ever wanna take that outta orbit you really need to fix your loving center of lift and center of mass by the time half of the liquids are gone because that is going to be less aerodynamic than a loving cat

oh stuff speaking of fuel you could latch on some detachable engines and just burn fuel from the craft itself

once you have it in orbit, pop off the engines and have a tanker dock and refuel

whenever a spaceplane needs a Δv boost, i spend a handicapped amount of time assembling a high-orbit relay station around kerbin and/or the target planet, and when those stations need refuels i set up mining rigs on low mass moons with tankers that fly up the refined fuel using a mule drone

3-5 missions' worth of effort to permanently reduce required effort elsewhere- if every large planet gets an orbital gas station, ships with efficient engines can basically do whatever they want for as long as they want

got my first ever space station into orbit ON THE DMP server, posting pics later

how do you even do asparagus staging any more? now rocket tanks all drain equally

how do you even do asparagus staging any more? now rocket tanks all drain equally
You can set priorities to how rocket tanks drain.

how do you even do asparagus staging any more? now rocket tanks all drain equally
you do it by chronology of how engines burn. For example, if you have 2 pairs of rockets on 2 sides, you connect a fuel line to the 2nd most outer, connect it going inwards, etc

You can set priorities to how rocket tanks drain.
how do you do that? I never saw a menu that said that anywhere.

use my instructions, I think crita is using a mod

can someone teach me how to rendezvous pls thx
