Friend has a problem joining servers "Blockland could not verify your BLID"

I bought my buddy Blockland for christmas for him & I to play.

For some reason he can't join, everytime he attempts to join he gets the error "Blockland could not verify your Blockland ID."

Forgot to mention: His game was working fine 15 minutes before hand, he left to double check the add-on he had, then he came back and this is where the problem appeared.

What does this have to do with anything?

Kyuande means that if you both use the same key from different locations (different external IPs) you get this error.

Either buy a second key or only play from the same house.

But beware when you do the latter.
Although multiclienting is not illegal, it is frowned upon by the community and will usually result in a ban from the server.
So if you do it, it is better to only do it in your own server or on servers where you know the host.

It is better to just wait for a Steam sale and get an other key for like 3$.

I have no idea where either of you are getting that we're using the same key. The first thing I stated, in plain sight, is that I bought the game for him for Christmas.

Update: He came on today and it was working, he joined someone's server but shortly after Steam proceeded to crash and now its doing the same thing again.

I have no idea where either of you are getting that we're using the same key.

This error happens when 2 users are using the same key.
So it is only logical to come to that conclusion.

No, he does not.

He already tried this, didn't work sadly.

He fixed the "could not verify your Blockland ID" thing.

But now no one can join my server. I've had two people try and it just sits there connecting.
