enemy unknown and enemy within were loving great

Anyone having problems with voices not playing? This started to happen after today's short update.

Wanna know who played 14 hours of xcom 2 in one sitting and is also me? ME.
Great gameplay, but having to play in the minimum possible resolution to get 40 fps sorta hurts me internally

How to get acceptable performance by sticking your richard into an .ini file

you're looking for XComEngine.ini in  C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config - open it, then just ctrl+f the exact variables listed (duplicates included) and change as instructed.  should help.

Wait does that fix the long wait times between turns and the like or is that just for improving graphical performance?

Holy forget I love this game so far, but DAMN is it harder than XCOM 1 at the start. The first mission you actually get control you have to face 7-8 enemies, 1 of which can mind control and raise dead.

EDIT: I forgot, it's also a timed mission.

the first few missions are such a gauntlet. maybe long war has pampered me but i kept on playing like i had 8 dudes with reliable stats when i only have 4 rookies with mediocre stats at best
