Author Topic: Any good platformers out there?  (Read 1392 times)

I'm looking for a platformer game that is bright/colorful and unique. Preferably something that is brief and fun. Do you know of any out there?

banjo-kazooie/tooie
super mario sunshine

Ori and the Blind Forest is amazing, and isn't too long.
It's very hard in spots though.

I've heard good things about Super Mario Bros.

If you can find a version with better-looking graphics (the Super Mario All-Stars version springs to mind), it'll probably fit what you're looking for.

rayman origins & rayman legends & basically all main-series rayman games

crash bandicoot
crash bandicoot 2
crash bandicoot 3: warped
crash bandicoot: the wrath of cortex
crash bandicoot twinsanity

If you have a ps3/4, Little Big Planet 2/3 is pretty alright.

It's more of a puzzler but mario vs donkey kong for the GBA is sorta short and p colorful

Super Mario 64 is still really fun to play today even in short bursts. Also all the mainline Crash, Spyro, Rayman, Ape Escape, and Sly Cooper games are great and they still hold up greatly.
