nautilus' voice is better

as a final match i had a lovely AFK top laner to fnish off w/e this ranked experience was. Silver IV, at the start of my 10 matches I thought that would be a good rank but now that I have it I'm severely disappointed.

Silver 4 is a great place to start. It's more conducive to learning than bronze and is also easy to climb out of once you learn the game a bit more.

League is a skill based gambling game, much like poker. Think of each game as a hand of poker. Some games, the cards you're dealt aren't great. Sometimes you can't win with the cards you have. Other times, you may have a stuffty hand, but can still win by making smart plays. Sometimes, you'll get a royal flush and you could go 0/20 and still win. Your own personal skill and understanding of the game can influence the odds to be in your favor, but mostly, it's improving your own play and grinding out more games that helps to climb. In the end, it's still a gambling game, so don't get discouraged by loss streaks/initial placement.

haha if im going bad but get carried ill feel as if i lost.

the outcome of the game doesn't really matter as long as you learn something and improve your own play. Improving means more wins over the long term, if you're willing to accept some tough losses now.

He's coming for Ezreal.

Also that loving ult, save any Self Delete attempt. The bond thing is HUGE!

lol ive got a friend who thinks hes slightly below gold 5 as far as skill goes and he struggles to win his bronze 3 games, frustrating to try to talk to him bc its never about what he did wrong its about what everyone else did wrong
Had a friend that insisted (and was serious) that there's nothing wrong with going Yasuo ADC and believed he should be at least gold if not plat.

why is my silver ass getting queued with a s5 diamond player?

That's platinum. He probably went 0-10 in his placements so his mmr is awful.

I think everyone knows "that guy" that thinks his own personal skill is much higher than it actually is. A large portion of the league playerbase are like that, and at the end of the day, they're so far into their delusion that nothing will convince them otherwise, even losing bronze 3 games routinely. They can't learn it because they don't have the right mindset to learn anything at all.

I'm one of the more optimistic players. I win games by boosting the moral of our mates.

Poor xin doesn't get enough attention...
