I get irrationally annoyed whenever specific friends message me on Facebook. Steam is fine because those messages appear in the corner and I can disable or enable sound/notifications on the fly, but with Facebook I have to switch out of the game, maximise my browser tab and then respond.
Certain people, like my ex-teachers or my best friends, I'm groovy to take a message from them any time. Hell, I'll even pause my awesome combo kill in Assassin's Creed just to see what's up. But there are some people out there who, for no real reason, make me really loving mad when I hear that Facebook messenger sound and it's not somebody I want to hear from.
What's worse is that most of these people rapid spam messages for forgetin minutes at the time. SEND ONE LONG MESSAGE, PLEASE. I know I've become a hypocrite recently, but I also don't message people unless it's a big deal (not exactly the proactive type).
And if I'm not on Facebook, they'll forgetin find some way to message me. Skype, Steam, text messages, email...they have it all man.
You know what REALLY forgetin annoys the stuff out of me? When I tell people "these are the words you use for when it's a serious emergency" and then they use them all the forgetin time so I keep falling for it like a gullible prick because my friends wanted to talk about his forgetin Fallout 4 weapon.
