I was wondering if you cloud change your Blockland port (server settings file) to something that is already forwarded by many routers safely.

Yes. See $Pref::Server::Port in Blockland\base\config\server\prefs.cs, or just change it yourself in advanced settings when making a game.

But can it be done without causing any problems with other computers in the network? And do you know any good open ports?

Yes. The ports that you SHOULDN'T use would be commonly-used ports, namely 80. I would recommend a higher up port, you stop using common ports when you hit about 10000. I personally use the default for Blockland, but I would use a port in the 4000s range if I had to change it, probably.

There is nothing unsafe about using port 28000.  Forwarding a port does not open you up to hackers.

I think he means he can't do the forwarding thing so he wants to change the port to a port that is already open by default or something.

Yeah, or something like that. But Badspot's right, too.

There is no "default open port". They're all closed by default, and you have to open them up.
