The X-Files Miniseries is a continuation of the American science fiction horror drama television series The X-Files, created by Chris Carter, which originally aired for nine seasons on Fox.¹ The series revolves around FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully investigating X-Files: marginalized, unsolved cases involving paranormal phenomena. Mulder believes in the existence of aliens and the paranormal while Scully, a skeptic, is assigned to make scientific brown townyses of Mulder's discoveries to debunk his work and thus return him to mainstream cases.^2
