Real monday Jambalaya

okay so lets start this stuff out
1. 2/5 of a large pot full of rice (not too large, but yknow like, if you were making a big pot of soup)
2. 2 packs (thats 4 sausages) of Turkey sausage
3. 2 pounds of chicken breast
4. water, brother (enough to submerge rice)
5. chicken boulion cubes
6. some of Tony Chachere's Creole Original Seasoning (look up Tony Chachere's Creole Original Seasoning, its amazing for everything)
7. Garlic, Thyme
8. Frank's Red Hot Hotsauce
9. Olive Oil
1. Pot, like large enough for soup yknow.
2. Pan, to pan fry some stuff brother
3. Wooden spoon. Wooden spoon best.
4. A cup or something to ferry water in
okay so this is a process
1. Get that pot on your stove, water in it, and get the water to boiling while you do everything else
2. Put boulion cubes in water, water cant be boiling ( 6 will do it)
3. Chop up your turkey sausage into 1/4 or 1/3 inch slices.
4. Put it in the pan, on a medium-high heat and let the sausage crisp up for about 15 or so minutes, you dont want it burned but some black is okay
5. Add rice, now this is where you need to have that water boiling, once rice is in, add the sausage which should be kinda blackened but not burnt
6. Stir that periodicaly until its done, but meanwhile you will be making the chicken
7. Chop up chicken into bite sized cubes, put olive oil in pan(just a few sprinkles of it), add chicken to pan
8. Add a moderate ammount of seasonings (like the garlic and thyme), to your chicken, stir this every so often too.
9. This is where youll also add your seasonings to your rice and sausage mixture, but only use the Tony Chachere's Creole Original Seasoning
10. When chicken is done (It will ALL be tannish-white), add this to your sausage and rice. Keep stirring for about 10 minutes with the heat off.
11. Pour Franks Red Hot all over your own bowl of Real monday Jambayla (optional, if you like some spice)
If there isnt enough water in your pot while rice is cooking, add more water using a cup to ferry some water over, if rice has no water while cooking it will burn
Your chicken must not be undercooked, as if it is you are risking food-borne illnesses, and a real brother doesnt want that. Make sure all your chicken doesnt have any pink spots.
Dont worry if your rice is kinda mushy, thats normal if your stirring it alot.
