You're not. But it's rather dumb to ban someone from your server because they disagreed with your opinion on the forum, but to not ban someone who joins your server, insults your work and calls you names.

Like, why wouldn't you ban both? Or ban neither?

Unless you have an ulterior motive, which is to create this faux sense of exclusivity, and make it some sort of punishment for being mean to the guy on the forum.

But really whats going on here is something i like to call "the Destroyer effect"
He also loves doing it, hes mastered it, what col here is attempting.

What you do, is you just look out for any flavor of the month hated user, no matter the reason, someone easy to attack because you know you will get easy support from most active posters.
Then you nitpick that persons every post, make a drama topic thats long and appears well thought out. Put on an aire of professionalism, blocklanders fall for that pretentiousness easily.
Then when your drama gets bigger, as you hoped, you can pat yourself on the back for being the community frontman. You are the moral hero and you are one hell of a poster!
