Author Topic: Lord Tony, Master Baiter  (Read 28763 times)

considering that there are "posted" laws against that in the united states(animal cruelty and vandalism) that's not a very good examples
Oh, right, my bad, here's a better one; "Whoops! Sorry for downloading all these viruses on your computer! When you let me use it I thought I could do *anything* I wanted with it since I wasn't told otherwise!"

ive noticed a bad habit on the forums developing. this doesn't necessarily involve whats going on here, its just helped me connect some dots:

there was a topic not too long ago where two users where in a heated argument. one user was vouching that a certain service he tried indulging in was stuff, and that everything he tried was absolute garbage. the other user seriously believed this guy was some "stuffty troll trying to bait people" when he was in reality just genuinely close minded and had this tunnel vision that everything about said service was useless

do people online now-a-days just forget you can actually be innocently ignorant on the internet? not a baiting troll? dont get me wrong tho: tony, i like you. you're a cool guy dude. i love what we do at night. but some things you post here really do come off like you're trying to start something. albeit a very minute amount of what you post seems that way, but i see where these folks are coming from

but guys, i stuff you not a lot and i mean A LOT of what ya'll complain about seems soooooo unnecessary. like i must be missing something cus the stuff yall get your nickers in a knot the most about seems practically normal to me. its funny too, because the same people that complain about tony I KNOW have been around the community long enough to know about the many scripts people have made to mute and block users. like if tony bothers you so much why do yall complain about it when you could be doing something about it?

btw, posting a drama topic solely to tell him to stop isn't "doing something about it". i get yall want him banned, but idk if this topics going to a accomplish that

thats just me tho

"lord tonee is masterbater"
"OH OH I HAVE IDEA"
"LETS POST ABOUT IT AND TAKE THE BAIT"

I'd block him but scripts don't work on mobile.
But Tony's a known troll (from what I heard from peoe who dealt with him before) so I'm inclined to believe he's trolling now.

thats fair, after all thats how people base who they should and shouldn't interact with, but thats really all it takes to full fleshed be against someone? you just take someones word for it? i suppose those people you talked to also explained their encounter with him and how he was a troll... or where they like "yeah hes a troll, dont hang out with him"?

I'm against blocking people's posts because not only does that not solve the issue, but just partially avoid it, it just makes reading any topic a huge drag as far as continuity is concerned.

Sure, there's a "SHOW POST" button, but then why even have it in the first place, it just seems unnecessary to entirely block someones thoughts even if they are stupid, only to have to undo that when it becomes necessary to see it again.

That's why I'd rather speak out against someone's actions than just ignore them. Ignoring the problem does not mean the issue isn't there.

I tried five drafts to explain why i am the way I am with him, but couldn't word it well. In a nutshell, "He's annoying and seems bait a lot like but I've seen him be cool so I don't know how to feel"

i agree with this. im not saying you should always ignore the problem because of course it wont go away if you dont acknowledge it, i just think lord tonys been acknowledged enough to the point where im sure badspot keeps a regretful eye on him (im sure he gets enough reports to not miss it). clearly monster amounts of drama topics and attention hasn't and isn't helping at this point so why continue yknow?

i wonder how many people share this mindset. they dont actually know how to feel, but attack him anyways cus thats what every one else is doing (not saying thats what you're doing. im not even following most of this topic lol)

About blocking him, I agree with Zack 100%, but the amount of stuff tony gets for posting is because its what he posts, not who he is. Theres obviously a problem when there's this many dramas, he has that many alts and people still get frustrated with him.

(from what I heard from peoe who dealt with him before) so I'm inclined to believe he's trolling now.

You're one of the many who has never had a 1 on 1 confrontation on me and only know about me from what other people said about me.

but the amount of stuff tony gets for posting is because its what he posts, not who he is.
you dont think someones personality influences what they say?

Its influencing what he posts, and thats what matters

thats whats considered trolling?

even if hes not trying to? i thought trolling was purposeful
