Yep, it's happened. I'm now an adult. I thought it'd be a little more special, some pomp and circumstance, but I'm just kinda chillin on my computer, noticed it's approaching 12:00 AM, January 29th where I am, and realized I'm 18 now. I wish I had some sudden sage-wisdom to offer about life/adulthood, but I don't have too much to say. I guess I'm now an adult. Things have been fairly turbulent for the past six or so years, and I'm not going to bullstuff anyone by saying everything is awesome, but I'd like to thank this community for tolerating and listening to my stupid vent stuff I post occasionally.
I wish I could say I have some sort of peace of mind, some feeling of "I've made it," which is true to an extent. I don't think I've told an entire story of where I come from here, but I'll save you the trouble and say it's a lot of firsts. I think I'm the first one of my biological family to go straight to a four-year school after high school, and as of my knowledge, the first one outside of a fifty mile radius of Okmulgee.
I'm not going to ask anybody for anything, but I'd like to offer to listen to anything and everything you guys have to get off your chest. Returning the favor, if you'd like to think about it that way. I hope all is well with everyone, and if not, that things will improve.
