I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

I plead that you encourage the rest of us to wage war on a strategic scale and not the tactical one. The micromanagement is an eyesore.

Vlast denounces Kyrev's aggression towards Milhamiah, especially so after the latter offered to fulfill the terms layed out before the war.

The delegate to the ONC attempts to draw attention to the conflict in the southwest.

okay yeah so i just did the math

assuming that we have enough resources constantly, 1000 shells are launched at shimrath per hour

10 shells per 10 minutes plus 5 minute cleaning time, so thats 10 shells per 15 minutes per gun, 10 shells per 15 minutes, in a full hour is 40 shells, 40 x 25 howitzers, thats 1000 shells per hour

I plead that you encourage the rest of us to wage war on a strategic scale and not the tactical one. The micromanagement is an eyesore.

Kyrev retorts that they offered to fulfil their own terms, in which they still had the overall say in trade, not the fair ones offered prior. Additionally, they remind Vlast that the Milhamites blockaded the important route of trade to Kyrev on a whim, simply because our ports were closed to them. They further note the history of the region, in which Milhamiah has time and time again controlled the trade of the nations to the east since antiquity. They are annoyed by the short-sighted politicians outside of the region that wish to interfere in disputes not their own and encourage other nations outside of the area to remain neutral.

We offered to give you a trading pact- maybe a alliance and perhaps we could have had a brighter future from there, but no. Immediately after the event the diplomats left/came, the ports were closed which was extremely suspicious.

On the topic of trade power- the lands of the Great Lake Sea are the homeland to the Jewish and Semitic peoples of Milhamiah, and we would see absolutely no reason to let some foreigners from Washk arrive 350 miles into the desert. We could have worked this out in a simpler way, but apparently we started off extremely bad and now we are at the worst of our relations.

In the time between the two of you have micromanaged your armies, they've pretty much been standing in formation and whistling into each others asses for the better part of a month due to the timescale.

Vlast's Executive sends its deepest sympathies to dense politicians who's diplomatic inventories contain nothing more creative than war.

Reports from the front indicate occasional Christmas Truce styled shenanigans between the opposing sides due to boredom.

yeah i believe ive shelled you enough matt so lets play this knowledgebly, ive forgeted your city up with explosive shells from my howitzers and rockets. im going to charge now with my line infantry and my light infantry behind them while riflemen give covering fire

due to how long its been and youve been, well, constantly being shelled by me i think i have pretty good chances

CHARGE!

The country of Nyn has also existed and then disappeared off of the face of the planet, Milhamiah has existed, stopped existing and then started existing once again, fleets have teleported across the water and armies been flung across the map. Unfortunately, forum games require to use some imagination and wave some hands.

Amusing quip, but negotiations have been going on for around a dozen pages now. War being the only tool is quite simply not correct. A similar condolence is sent to those that have nothing better to do than worry themselves with matters not their own.

Wait, where DID Nyn go anyways? Did it really get conqured that quickly? The world really does pass right by you a tiny island nation...

Waru left for the time being.

Hah. A leader of a big nation just resigns with no one to fill in the spot. Imagine that.

Very well then, I will honor this then.

The army meets the charge.

The government uses Merchant ships to head out into the middle of the Great Lake Sea and stay there...

howitzers are still firing

and so are rockets

by the rockets red glare

regardless how many troops would you have now that wouldnt have died of starvation, shrapnel, disease, dehydration, or simply routed?

Yeah, who decides the outcome/effects of the battle, anyways? Is there some almighty referee for this?
