I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

Also, our people have decided to focus its industries on sheep like all good english speaking island nations.

'cept England I guess.

inb4 falklands war of 1834

The first of Vlast's settlers arrive on the continental mainland, around that one loving river Vlast keeps crowing about.

Oh, speaking of England, I guess we'll set up some small mining operations in our territories to look for minerals.

EDIT:
Uh, I guess I just posted basically 3 times in a row, although not really.
Should I contain all my declarations to one post in the future via edits?
And is there any limit to what I can do in a year?
Again, this is my first nation RP, I don't know all the rules yet, so forgive me for the questions.

um, i mean, if its relevant and the entire contents of a post haven't been discussed by anyone. if one post is about war, and the other is about sheep, you shouldn't really combine them unless you think of the same things at the same time.
eg.

Angland invades Scotia in order to form a union.
-
Angland makes babies.

^same post

for a good example of when not to compound edits (the whole point is to really be appropriate and to let people see what you're doing_

Angland kills Scoitia

^one post, then 5 posts later

Angland sleeps.

you can do any amount of declarations per year.

i mean, this covers any forum post, too, really. if you need to add more to a current subject, then edit. if you need to continue something, then make another post.

oh btw new flag, thanks jun (<3)

matt idk if your ignoring me or something but im also at this exact moment sieging shimrath soooooo

yeah continue to rain explosive howitzer shells onto the city and launch congreve rockets at it

k then

We will continue the war. Last where we left off was on the border battle between my two armies.
Between yours and mine, you mean. Washk's advance is still unchecked, and has of course now pushed across the border and is heading towards Shimrath rather quickly.

What all is the size and composition of the army here? I have marched 13 regiments of foot, 4 regiments of horse and 550 artillery pieces here under Field Marshal von Gneisenau.

-snip-

Okay, thank you.

One more thing: Do we have to wait for Mr. Swat One to get back to us for things based partly on chance like battles, settlements, and, I guess, mining operation results?

You forgot again- the government force of 80,000 men lies in the defense of Shimrath.

-
The army you are fighting- the holy order of Meir, is 74,000 men strong with a composition of 24,000 cavalry, 40,000 infantry, 250 artillery. (artillery are armed by the men already listed.)

Unless the garrison is sallying out to meet him, his advance is still unchecked. A garrison force typically stays inside the thing it intends to defend.

The garrison is defending from the walls yes

I'll be updating shortly.  Please post any alliance networks like you would a nation post.  Players maintain them, but I can link it in the OP so that the post is easily accessible.

Kyrev, I really see no point in fighting over a piece of clay for trade power. I gave your merchants full access in return for not attacking me. Sure, I could give you that land but

why the forget does washk need it, they are 350 loving miles away

Did you see my post about the coalition, Swat?

von Gneisenau positions his forces so the right flank is defended by the river. 300 of the heavier artillery pieces are deployed and target the main infantry line as well as the massive cavalry wing, 50/50.

Infantry form up in standard line pattern out front, with cavalry securing the left wing. 4 regiments of foot are held in reserve.

Kyrev has new demands.

Milhamiah will accept vassalization. They will have reduced political and trade rights, but will be fairly autonomous. However, any wars that either party are involved in will translate to the other as well. Both parties sign a 15 year non-aggression pact, and full trading rights. Milhamiah will demilitarize, and only maintain a police force and navy only suitable for defending trade for the same 15 years.

Additionally, the southern shore of the river nearest Seris will be ceded up to the peninsula in the south shore of the lake as sovereign Kyrevan territory. And, of course, no further Milhamite expansion to the east.

matt id like to specify that im not within accurate firing range of your men, my men are like a half mile away on a dune just constantly firing their howitzers off, if you need to actually get good shots off itd be best to get closer and then take your shots but even then i have the flanks covered by riflemen and the line is well, line infantry and light infantry

if O represents the howitzers, I will represent the light infantry, C will represent Line Infantry, T represents rockets, and H represents the rifles its something like this.

First line is aproximately 500 meters away

C C C C C C C C
      C   T   C
I I I I I I I I I I

     H   O   H

ah, forgot sorry.

The garrison stays in, stockpiles the food in the basements, lesser subject to howitzer fire. Peasants bring in water and stockpile it.

-1000: Milhamiah does not want annexation or vassalization
-1000: No forts have been occupied.

Roll my luck and battle out Kyrev's forces.
hold up battle plan

Hey SWAT One, can I expect a ~1500 pop growth? Er, how does that work?
