you don't understand, as long as you're the one who says what trade rights I have, I do NOT have control. I tried to rectify this 4 times by asking for land at the mouth of the west river.

you're not annexed btw, the serisian government arrested your government because it was being dumb by putting a gate there when you were explicitly warned that any attempt to control trade would result in explosions. you're still a protectorate but don't try to pull anything like that again. you're free to replace the now-arrested government with some other guys who hopefully don't come up with very smart idea of putting a gate on a river that at least four nations rely on for trade

ok so imagine this. north and south usa. north didn't use slaves. the south did. landon province didn't do slavery. alberton didn't do slavery. frisia province, however, boasted a lot of population, and richarded parliament. nothing could be really done because in parliament itself there was debate. the king abused his power, however, to slowly reform the use of slavery. eventually i wanted to fully outlaw it lol.

Due to the recent, outrageous acts on the people of Xeichi, an Islamic extremist burned down a plantation house in one of the many slave camps, it is unknown how he got onto the grounds and was shot in the shoulder, killing him instantly when he was seen throwing a torch into the second-floor window of the Plantation building.
