Resource maps should work like fog of war. They will be released to you (personally) once you prospect the resources in the region. In war, you can prospect the resources/steals maps of resources from your enemy to work out a peace deal or burn some stuff down.

i mean holy stuff grunter didn't get this reaction. shrug shrug.

i am blessed of allah, you see...

is it me, or am i completely bipolar in the way I type? lol, I just switch back and forth.

scotia claims the island south of it

New Römekäte begins focusing its forces in the western hills and east Sunyong, aiming to secure it and deal with the freedmen creating havoc in Sunyong.
Despite the prideful resistance of the Sunyong people, the locals gradually grow more peaceful.

Limestone Walls are constructed around the city of Xeichi to increase repression.
Meanwhile, in the villages in the sand-dunes, slavers are armed with Bayoneted Muskets to add efficiency in melee combat incase of a slave revolt.
Dead bodies are hung at the borders of Xeichi to discourage people from wanting to escape.
These prove to be both effective in repressing the population and also raising the population of carrion-eating birds.

OOC:  Xeichi is a scary place...

and why have all of my posts after page 94 gone unnoticed by swat 1
I also want to clarify.  Usually if I don't comment on something, it means that the action goes through successfully.  IE I don't need to moderate it.

Also, I edited the map.  Let me know if it's incorrect.

nnnn swat
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnno

i basically ripped off reichreligion holy stuff my dear son. the first bit of posts i never got specific at all.
and jun agreed with idea of coevolution btwbtw1

god
angels (and some super angels are like, spitting image of norse gods. they carry powers in comparison to being agents of god's power. think romans ripping off local gods to please the people)
king
bishops
otherstuff
people

idk why this is hard to understand.  2

5.  The king has despised and disposed of fellow Anglish countrymen by submitting them to indefinite servitude and enslavement.
6.  The king has commanded armed soldiers to punish, subdue, and murder them with more cruelty than with which a butcher would kill his stock.

lol loving what.  3
ok so imagine this. north and south usa. north didn't use slaves. the south did. landon province didn't do slavery. alberton didn't do slavery. frisia province, however, boasted a lot of population, and richarded parliament. nothing could be really done because in parliament itself there was debate. the king abused his power, however, to slowly reform the use of slavery. eventually i wanted to fully outlaw it lol.  4

but yes, this change is highly dumb and stupid, so you stepped in and shat on everything me_irl. it appeared to be politically motivated, but imagine the king reaching back to north german/scandinavian history textbooks and nodding two times "hm we aspire to be like these people".  5

do what you wish to make amends/void whatever after i explained the inner workings, and i'll deal with everything throughout. this stuff does sound very english civil war-y and maybe this is a rise of a stronger republic 8)
i mean holy stuff grunter didn't get this reaction. shrug shrug.  6
Okay, first of all let me put it out there that I really shouldn't have to explain this in as much detail as I am now.  I'd also like to call attention to rule 10 in the OP and also note that I dislike having to enforce it, but it's something that must be done so that people don't complain about moderator actions from nation to nation, however, since you seem to be envying grunter, I shall explain how this works.

Above all else, the ALL arose as a temporary measure to overcome what both peoples saw as a pagan religion that threatened their entire way of life and also had harsh conditions set on the people.

1.  It's one thing to have a populace willing to convert to a religion, but another to force it.
2.  Let me also explain this.  Yes, this is the traditional hierarchy, but as a Christian and someone who knows a thing or two about English history, I was trying to tell you in this whole ordeal, the idea of hierarchy was not absolute.  The fact that there's a parliament already shows that the king's power is already tested.  Supposing that you are following a legal history similar to IRL England, it should be noted that English Common Law existed during the middle ages, and has since been developed to guarantee more and more rights to people over time.  In the ripe year of 1683, the English Bill of Rights was created, this speaking only of the de jure movements.  In 1066, William of Normandy introduced the first forms of representative government in England, allowing land-tenants and ecclesiastics to be involved in making decisions.  In 1215, the king's power was broken up further as the nobility was permitted to expand their power.  Fast-forward to the English Civil War, parliament had already been involved in making progressive decisions that stood against the king, and after which was the power that didn't supersede, but strongly competed as the true governing power of England.  On a philosophical level, the idea of Divine Rite had been tested for centuries and by now would have been pretty well-established as an antiquated idea.  So it you want to go by the reasoning of history alone, it would have been a great overreach of the king's power, and whether parliament approved it or not, it would have to abolish fundamental rights granted by basic citizenship, which, as I think you could imagine makes people unhappy.

Now on a religious level, the hierarchy is not absolute.  Ideas spread by philosophers and writers over half a century before, speak extensively of the codependent rights and responsibilities of monarchs and the people, and that any breach of this was grounds for rebellion, for the monarch to be overthrown.  The bible speaks that the word of God is absolute, and that the bible speaks against the amending of the bible.
Quote from: John, on the Island of Patmos: Revelations 22:18-19
18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.  19And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
So it is needless to say that the king overstepped even divine rite.  This problem means that the king himself and anyone who embraced this had surmounted God.  A huge no-no.
3.  The last two were hyperbole, but used to address problems that were very real.
4.  Again, even if parliament discussed this inhuman act and approved it, slavery was still a real thing within Anglond.  It still happened.
5.  That's different from overthrowing an entire culture and legal code and replacing it with a contrary one overnight.  It just can't happen in any circumstance.
6.  Grunter has consistently posed Conservatia as a warrior culture.  While Islamic institutions were being torn down, they appreciated the warrior culture that was introduced to them.  Once the hype went down, the people saw Islam as heavily threatened.

On another note, don't you think it would be plain strange if you let so many citizens' patriotism go to waste?  You have people willing to die for the country and then they're told that they need to conform to a strange way of life.

Does this make sense to you now?

Sonodine is working on channeling remaining population into Shasta and Sonodine City to help rebuild and revitalize farms wrought by damage.
Sonodine makes a plea for aid to help rebuild.
Sonodine succeeds in starting up new farms and begins to finally gather a surplus.

The idea I had was that growing regions would be publicly available, but that subterranean resource maps would only be given to your nation.  How does this sound?

Arcon begins looking at the territory to the east, looking to claim the land between itself and Anglond.  Messengers are sent out to the inhabitants of this region to both ascertain if they are peaceful and to ascertain what views they hold of the Arconian nation.  Gifts are given out to sweeten the deal.

Railroads connecting Arcon and Avalonia are complete, as well as networks.  Arcon suggests the joint foundation of a city at the midway point in the Jointly Administered Zone (JAZ).

The NCO central office requests that Wienza and Seris set up branch offices, and to inform the organization of the city in which it exists.

Missionaries and Junkers are sent to unorganized rebel holdouts, asking that they join up with the new nation.

With east Sunyong cleared of unguided rioters and vengeful loyalists, the focus is set on securing Sonodine (that is, expelling loyalists of the old government) and constructing better infrastructure between the three provinces in order to maintain mobility as their numbers in the hill-base grow.

WDC leadership officially released to Kyrev, Seris is no longer under the Coalition but will continue any trade deals from the WDC if they are also continued under member nations. Serisian technical cooperation has been transferred to NCO collaboration.

Oh, this was long overdue, but by now the Arconian ocean shipping companies have almost completely transitioned to steamships as their primary, if not express shipping method.  The Arconian navy breaks up 16 of its oldest naval vessels, to be replaced by 20 steam-powered vessels.  Some of the newer ships are also being examined to see if they can be retrofitted with steam engines.

Along the Auligne River bank, a refining and manufacturing industry springs up out of trade generated from the river.

A delegation is sent to meet with the transitioning governments, to request mutual embassies.

Now that the walls in Xeichi are complete, about 100 guards armed with Lyman .50 Cal Blackpowder Rifles are spread out through the slave camps, these men also carry spiked-whips for melee combat.
In the city of Hei, people are encouraged to farm small gardens to sustain themselves due to the food shortage specifically in that city.
Xeichi expands westwards

Serisian shipping companies have also transitioned primarily to ocean steamships, building upon the navy's successful designs to reliably contend with the river currents nearby as well. However, paddle propulsion does leave something to be desired, and a solution is in the works by an inventor residing in Arcadia. The Serisian Strategic Naval Research Institute is currently supporting this research and a prototype will likely be conceived by 1835, if not sooner. In the meantime, the Serisian navy is refitting 12 of their frigates, the Abreska, and the 1830 Block Caliburns to utilize steam propulsion. Plans to retire most of the current fleet by 1845 are in place, and the navy will begin shipbreaking vessels this year. Refits will not be done until 1835, and the 1835 construction block will be delayed until 1837, this will affect all ship construction blocks.

Ships that are broken apart will be stricken from the nation post, starting with the training fleet.

Some immigrants have been mostly settled down with their families in Seris, it's noted that about a quarter of them are settled in Arcadia, where they will help shape the culture there. The intellectuals from Sunyong settled in Musashi with the rest of their compatriots (the 10,000 refugees from earlier).

Continue focusing the population, and carefully distribute the surplus, and if necessary, stockpile it depending on the almaniac

very much thank you

For some reason when I upload a flag from flagmaker, it doesn't include the texture to make it more realistic, and it only happens on imgur
does anyone know another website I can upload images to?
