I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

Mipoli begins to construct military camps in the southern borders of Mipoli. In the cities.

Orphanages are constructed in the capitol where they will make bullets for rifles 1 hour per day, twice a week.

People are encouraged to leave the cities to start farms in western Tripoli to help food production for citizens and soldiers. (Do I have to wait for results to see how many people go and start farms?)

Espovon looks into the concept of railroads and steam locomotives seeing great potential to move goods smoothly and in bulk.

our first railroad is constructed between Pretoria and Centurion to test out steam engines.

Also, cause I think Swat mentioned it, the chairmen still have rather prominent places in office, so the rifle deal would probably still be valid.
Gotcha.  Since Arconian engineers have completely refurbished and fully tested the designs in this time, Arcon requests for a reduction in production fees.

Wherever will sell them.  Th profit margin on raw materials is good in Avalonia, as there's plenty of demand from industry and, for the most part, not enough local supply to meet it, encouraging merchants to go somewhat far afield for them.1

Avalonian companies begin to establish greater presences in the small, less developed nations of the region, like Izlandia, Saccren, and Milhamiah.  Trade with Conservatia is on the upswing, and a delegation is sent to Romekate to discern its openness to foreign merchants, namely Avalonia and the NCO.2
1.  Okay.
2.  Avalonia is reminded that Izlandia is both Arcon's protectorate and a Protected Member of the NCO, which means that any forms of predatory business practices that harm the domestic economy of Izlandia are prohibited.

I didn't have to leave a response.  If I don't leave a response, treat it as "Your action goes through successfully, to the measure at which it is sufficient."

Arconian naval officials sit back look at their pocket-watches periodically, wondering when the Serisian Naval Representatives will arrive to discuss the overhaul.

NCO Resolution 0533 — Member Initiation Provision I
Proposed by the Principality of Arcon

  • Recognizes that unanimous votes for member invitation are difficult and increasingly unrealistic to gather in a growing organization.
  • Proposes that voting for member invitations be revised to be based on a majority of sixty percent or greater.

– VOTE –

Yay:  Arcon, Seris, Scotia
Nay:  none

Resolution 0533 passes automatically with 60% of the vote.

I thought this would be automatic but whoops

The Serisian naval representatives arrive at Aurrege on a transport with two escorts.

The bickering in Parliament, previously little more than a short term delay in politics, has started to become a legitimate threat to Kyrevan hegemony. The industrialists under Leopold the Elder have complained about under-representation and  now threaten total secession unless their demands are met. This action is nominally opposed by many of the independents and a portion of the military bloc under Prinz Eugen II, who believe it would threaten crop harvests and military production, respectively. The river and colonization interests under Duke Maximilian IV remain unaligned.

The Chancellor has wholly given up trying to moderate and now rallies nobles and commoners alike to the Kaiser.

Arcon cuts trade temporarily with Kyrev, wishing to keep its merchants and citizens safe.

Which reminds me, do we have embassies?

Fravath moves troops into Kyrev's country-side for "military exercises"

just in case

Fravath's military expands to 150,000 men, due to land gains, and styles itself technologically with it's overlord Kyrev.

Fravath also puts into motion a plan to align itself more with it's neighbors. All legal documents and public signs (streetsigns, shops, etc) will be required to be written in Hebrew, German, and English.

Kyrev temporarily stops bickering to mobilize its enormous war machine to repell the invasion from the north. Grúzia is batphoned.

New Romekate notes that, while it may still be in recovery, it will assist its long standing friend in the south west if they are unable to repel an attack.

Woah woah woah. This is not an invasion. I thought I was allowed to enter Kyrev. The troops are there as loyalists to the Kaiser. This is not a hostile move. Fravath moves it's army back within it's own borders and sends a herald to Kyrev apologizing.

Some explanation - In EU4, vassals have military access and will move troops if there is unrest.

See the difference?

Yes. My mistake.

(also CypherX granted me Grand Duchy status)

This is specific.

This is vague.

no, we don't

thanks grand duchy

A new party begins to gain momentum among the independents. A powerful speaker and charismatic businessman by the name of Gerhard von Scharnhorst is the de facto head, and has the rare ability to silence Parliament when he pleases. They represent, what they call, the "people's interests". What exactly this entails is up for debate.

Well, once things are settled, Arcon would like to establish mutual embassies so that negotiations can be carried out more effectively.
