I gotta be honest, guys.  I am actually finding updating and constantly following this game to be a tremendous consumption of time and attention.  Frankly, I am seriously considering either dropping the project altogether or passing it off to anyone who I

Vlast finds weaknesses in its current law structure, and motions begin to write an official constitution that defines the function of the government and the rights of its citizens.

The country's best intellectuals and political thinkers gather in Soyuzagorsk.

Also there's the issue of highly flammable death balloons, but at least those were based on a real invention at the time, using relatively less expensive materials and whatnot.
It's worth noting that Avalonia put a lot into the development of these balloons so that they don't go like the Hindenburg.  Avalonia's got the VTI and a system that encourages development that doesn't come at a human cost (also the real life airship had measures taken to prevent its own operations from causing it to burst into flames, no reason why Avalonia's can't do that and more).

As far as Avalonia getting a star "for declaring war on the PNP", that's pure fiction.  During World War I, Avalonia revved up its war machine, increased the drilling frequency of its militias, improved its military, logistical, and communications infrastructure, and increased the size of its standing army.  That's where that star came from.  It could even be argued that it could still be four stars, since Avalonia sunk plenty of assets into making sure that it didn't remain a solely Avalonian operation, that local forces did a lot of heavy lifting to reclaim their homeland with Avalonian backing.  I won't argue that Avalonia experienced no casualties or anything like that, just that Avalonia got that star legitimately.

With Romekate forces maintaining their front, and native forces making good progress, Avalonia scales back its direct involvement in the Arconian Civil War, specifically by bringing home any militias in Arcon, along with the majority of the regular infantry, leaving behind special forces and the growing Avalonian Foreign Legion to aid in combat, and a number of sappers and scouts, as well as a few airships, to provide aid on the logistical, technical, and information fronts.

Returning Avalonian troops, both regular and militia, are given a good leave, and regulars troops also receive a small bonus, with priority going to those who fought the most in Arcon.  Troops are welcomed home as returning heroes who fought for a just cause.  Families who lost members are given an Avalonian flag, a small sum of money, and a letter expressing the deep regret that their man made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

Chancellor Hall begins to turn the political wheels to allow a broader range of individuals to vote.  He views it as wrong that some men who gave their lives to defend Avalonia's ally, not even their own home soil, were unable to vote because they did not hold property.  While he favors increasing the breadth of those able to vote, he intends to do s modestly, and in a way that would prevent populists and demagogues from taking advantage of the people to the detriment of all.  This isn't a motion in the ANA or anything formal yet, just the beginnings of a change.

Avalonian settlers in the region that's now Decepticon's nation return home.

When did 200,000 soldiers turn into 200,000 infantry alone?
Well over two hundred thousand men pour across the border, slamming into Arcon's flank like a freight train.
Combined Serisian and Kyrevan batteries, bolstered by further Kyrevan reinforcements, shell the dug in but advancing siege guns.

Also, in the battlefield, which was mainly mild dunes or flat land, what cover could be taken from the siege gun barrage?  By the time the Arconian force spotted the approaching Kyrevian force, they would have taken up positions and anchored in.  It's this initial loss and lack of means to deal with it at the beginning before the Georgian force arrived that coated the most.
How did Arconian forces dig in to fight when they were marching perpendicular to me? You were advancing in a different direction, the whole point of me moving through my corridor was because it would slam into the flank of an advancing force, precisely where you can't defend from.

And, unless your siege guns are tiny and not siege guns at all, I seriously doubt their effectiveness on anything other than a stationary wall. The fire rate is low and it'd fire a big solid shot, which, unless you're shooting it horizontally at something practically right in front of you, isn't going to do a whole lot.

Jüncoph: they were specifically built to just defend against people with guns on a fortress wall
Jüncoph: the plan was to destroy any defensive artillery before employing them
Jüncoph: their structure is super stuff
Jüncoph: the most important part of the frame is a giant U shape with the bend where the gun is, and it's made of loving palm wood
Jüncoph: hell
Jüncoph: if you fire bronze balls full of greek fire
Jüncoph: they'd die if the impact alone doesnt just make it implode

My point here is that you did all of this total nonsense with the siege guns, and then had the audacity to drop my overall military strength. If these plot armor guns were a kick in the mouth, the star was salt in the wound. I've kept my military up to date with breech loading needle rifles and conscription, kept the pattern of supremely well drilled infantry with seasoned and efficient officers and exchanged new and improved technology with Seris. So when we do the exact same thing the exact same way and yet he has twice the overall military development, I start scratching my head.

hello neighbour jyväskansa would you like to trade???

The Serisian Navy and Artillery Corps receive upgrades in the form of new rifled breech-loading cannons and howitzers. The gun turrets on Serisian heavy-capital ships are upgraded with a better turret design with better ability to use gun elevation and hit enemy ships from longer range. Since the Persistance-class flagships are only distinguished by their lack of sailing rigs and thicker armor, over the the faster Caliburn-II class and sister Indefatigable-Class, they are redesignated as 'assault cruisers'.

A series of textbooks is published, covering literature, math, physics, chemistry, history, military strategy, civics, engineering, statistics, business, and philosophy. These standardized texts are endorsed by the Serisian government and reflect the latest advances in Serisian science and chemistry. The textbooks are updated with new material every two years, and previous owners can get a discount if they turn in used textbooks to be recycled. The Serisian government takes better care in making sure that compulsory education is successful by building up new schools and providing renovations for existing ones, and the Ministry of Education conducts experiments and studies to see what methods of education work best. The books are also translated to Vlastic common for use in the allied nation.

The jointly developed Kröpp C/64 breech loading field gun is introduced into the Kyrevan military, immediately replacing all current field guns. The Serisian metal cartridge is given to Paul and Wilbur Maisner, who convert the domestic Brandt gun to use metal cartridges. Additionally, their current project incorporates ideas taken from this. These refit Brandt guns, designated Brandt Rifle 1856, are issued to all Kyrevan infantry.

seris bb can we still trade :)

>leftover mining machinery
>he's a /gunsmith/ but makes a primitive needle gun

i mean is this a gunsmith anywhere near modern standards or a gunsmith from the earliest of the 19th century lol

the mining machinery's usefulness is questionable but "gunsmith" refers to firearm engineers in general, not just renaissance gun-barrel hammerers

well i mean im saying gunsmith because i doubt he is realistically exposed to guns - im questioning the existence of the job in general.
