Disable cubes for non admin.

I need some kind of script for a freebuild to disable all forms of cubes and modter for non admins. Or any brick I decide to disable if possible.

I don't want people using cubes to exploit crap.

They can be used to see through walls.

You can hide inside them and be able to kill others without being harmed.

Water cubes can be used to get up to high places with ease.

Etc.


Big cube spam is also annoying.

You can do that with any brick, not just cubes.

With the way I have my server set up cubes are not useful in the hands of non admins to begin with and I prefer they didn't have access to them.

Will probably make for you today. How do you want to disable them? A list of ui names in a text file? A server command? I could probably do a server command that opens the brick selector and then you can select a brick to enable/restrict.

Probably like a brick selector.

Why stop at cubes, you could probably make it so you could disable any brick.

/restrictBricks to toggle restrict bricks mode.
/unrestrictBricks to toggle unrestrict bricks mode.
/restrictedBricks for a list of bricks that are restricted in the server.

When in one of the modes either right click a brick in the brick selector or add the desired bricks to your cart and all bricks in your cart(when you close the selector) will become restricted.

Not sure if it will act any differently if you have TMBI.

You might want to download the mod again. I just updated it to account for if someone is an admin in one of the modes and then gets demoted. I also added /unrestrictAllBricks(super admin only).
