Author Topic: Blockland crashes if I have either PTG or Slayer  (Read 1970 times)

Blockland crashes if i have either Procedural Terrain Generator or Slayer, or just a few add ons for that matter. My computer can't handle many add ons at once and its really annoying. Any way to fix it? I used to be able to have as many add ons at once until I went on a Blockland Hiatus until recently, three months ago, I came back and found i couldn't attach many add ons

* So could someone help find out how to fix this?

* ah sorry for forgetting info on post, but i meant to say it crashes when starting a server

heres the console

It is definitely the themes addon.
Holy sh*t so many errors.

what exactly is the themes Add On? Is it the client?

Ok so i took the themes addon out of the folder and it still won't work. anything else that would help?

Can you remake and reupload a console log without the themes addon?
The actual problem will be more clear then.

heres console without theme

Yeah, it indeed stops while loading Slayer.
But it doesn't give any information as to why the crash happens.

I think it is better if Greek2me takes a look at this.
He lurks around on the help section, so it is probably just a matter of time before he sees this.
But you could always PM him if he doesn't respond in a day.

In the meantime, could you open the console and type "trace(1);" before the crash happens?
It then logs everything that happens in the console.log, which should give a better view of the problem.

Remove Slayer and see if the problem continues.

It seems not just slayer is causing the issue. If I were to enable a few more brick add ons it would immediately cause the same issue. But thanks

Meaning Slayer disabled would let server run, but only with so few add ons enabled, if i enable a few more add ons that aren't slayer and for example, are weapons or bricks, it would cause same problem.

Remove recent client add-ons you installed, if that doesn't work remove all client mods and slowly install them back to see which one is causing it.

seems client add ons aren't the only problem, seems add ons of clients, big files, and specific ones will crash during the start of a server, any help?
