jpeg.exe

sets your screen resolution to jpeg quality 1 mode. Hard codes itself into the hard drive and is pretty much untraceable.

autism.exe
changes your wallpaper every 1337 days to some autistic blf'ers avatar. example:

S4tyrr_44/R3D_32

A shape-shifter virus with two functions. As S4tyrr_44, it harmlessly brings up pop-up of a Greek satyr dancing gif every so often, and occasionally moves files around and leaving decoy copies in their place for a set amount of time. It cannot access more secure areas of a computer in this form.
As R3D_32, on the other hand, it piggybacks on files most often utilized or accessed by the user and corrupts the code, rendering said file or program unusable. This includes any files directly from the C: drive or any drive your OS uses. It also occasionally shows you a 'Red screen of Death', showing a large disturbing image overlayed in red, before forcing your computer to reboot, losing your data from any programs you recently used.

I had two ideas, but this one seems to be shorter than the other.

Antitosh:

Deletes a random directory (usually besides System32 and WINDOWS, always excluding root directories) if it detects either a window title with any term related to Apple Inc. (if it's this, the window closes) or if the date is the release of the original Macintosh.

Scrambler

Much like editing a running .exe file with cheat engine, whenever you run a .exe file it continuously and gradually scrambles values to the point where the program is unstable within minutes.

Windows 10 forgeter
A .exe file that when ran will force the computer to reset.
While the computer is resetting the virus will quickly infect 5-10 files(not system critical files).
Every infected file do not work, instead run the virus.
Repeat untill all files are infected.
Three days after the infection date, the virus will remove all of the files infected.
While this is happeneing, all users are set to "rooster sucking cigaretteot".
Rinse and repeat.

EDIT:The virus hides in "hole" areas such as CIH did back then, so its undetectable, it also hides in the least used file.

but what if the OS is a macintosh/apple

Me and a couple friends had an idea of a virus that would slowly change every picture to a man eating a banana, every picture would be randomly chosen from a pool of banana-eating men, and on every startup it would change.
The whole idea came from me loving about on the computer in school and i made a background with people enjoying their bananas
I'd call it the Banana Bonanza
Sadly we never got around to making it

CIH (a real virus)
A virus that, when activated on the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, destroys your system's BIOS.

a virus that simulates a random key press every couple seconds

DX3.Setup.exe

Disguised as an Installer for a software needed to run certain games

This Virus has nasty effects that make gaming unbearable!

It bassicly uses up a stuffload of CPU in the beginning but later changes options ingame and will spam bad prank videos and in the end starts a countdown and starts an ARG troughout your system and a game the virus installed wich will then be an experiance like 2016 Imscared.

If you dont beat it it will end up overkilling your PC.

After playing and beating the ARG in the countdown provided a prompt pops up to deinstall the game.

There are 2 things that can happen:

-When you click no it will delete itself and will leave code so you wont get affected again and might even drop a Steam Code for a game

-If you click yes it will duplicate and open "you are an idiot.com" and will then shut down your pc and brick it

If yes is chosen the message:

"You are so kind even after i nearly destroyed your PC...(If steam code is left it will also tell you that it left a gift for you and that you can find it in a folder labeled GIFT on the desktop.)"
