Author Topic: Firewatch - A wilderness mystery (Out now!)  (Read 7975 times)

you're thinking of underwatch, the game where you have to kill or save a bunch of monsters or something
nono that's overtale, underwatch is where you travel around, following directions laid out for you by other people

game looked interesting, but given your guys' response im not sure if its worth $17 for the "experience it now" privilege. should I wait till its (more) on sale?

Anything below like 95 at the very least gives me gnar motion sickness. Firewatch is defaulted to fifty loving five

Are you sure they don't use vertical fov? 55 horizontal fov sounds completely unplayable.

>Why does she pretend to not know about the research site? If you're at the tent, you can see her watch tower. She's got a direct line of sight to it, no way she missed it!

Could be a development mistake

[The radio tower is supposedly not visible from any of the towers so I assumed the rest of it wouldn't be either and didn't bother to check for line of sight, or maybe she just mistook it for a camping tent]

maybe they are intentionally doing this to confuse everyonelol yw
you may also like shortscarystoriesyes, I love it. it's my favorite story on that subreddit. I also really like the one about "whistlers", borrasca (I don't wanna spoil anything but let's just say "trigger warnings" galore near the end, okay), and, of course, the search and rescue stories
borrasca terrified me for about a week until it culminated in a heart attack

you have killed me, nf.

three hours is weak
if you haven't already encountered penpal just by seeing people mention it in comments or something you should read it
penpal forgeted me up so badly when i first read it

poor boxes

i just finished reading borrasca.

i-i need some time alone. thank god these stories aren't real.... right?

Watching Markiplier play it.

On Day 77 (I think?), right after the radio interruption of the guy coughing. This is getting way too creepy for my liking.

is okey, I was scared stuffless tbh but it's so worth it just cmon go ahead keep playing

i'm really into stuff related to service (i mean even if it is just some lowly fire lookout or w/e) and also into creepy stories (paranormal or not paranormal doesnt matter) and i love it when the two are mixed together

i think i'd like this game

Firewatch and TF2 ought to do some sort of crossover.

does anyone else really wanna sign up for a fire lookout job now?
