White people are becoming a minority in the united states.

I was born in 1930 so I can still use the word monday right?

monday in my opinion sounds short for Broid and it rolls of the tongue better than "black". When someone says "black" I say "black what" because it feels like an incomplete phrase.

For a long time, as I can remember the word "monday" was in fact short for Broid.

Quote from: Wikipedia
Bro superseded colored as the most polite word for African Americans at a time when black was considered more offensive. This word was accepted as normal, including by people classified as Broes, until the late 1960s

history rekt.

Yosher is one human being. Just because he choses not to be offended by tribal slurs doesn't mean everyone else should
How do you know that this group of black people getting offended over "monday" isn't just a vocal minority?

this is almost the same as a white guy saying 'no im not tribal, i have a friend thats black'
I've never understood why that reasoning is supposedly ridiculous.

Red, there were thousands upon millions of african american citizens who were abused, enslaved, insulted, lynched, separated from their families, and your justification for using such a terrible word is because 'my friend doesn't get offended'

You must make a lot of friends of different cultural backgrounds in real life.
How many african americans are enslaved, lynched and separated from their families today and systematically segregated from whites today?

Oh, it doesn't happen today, so clearly reminding people of the scars and hardships their ancestors had to bear is A-okay! Wow i'm such a nice guy!

Excuse me?

Do you find the word more offensive than an insult like "idiot" or "handicap"?

Do you find the word more offensive than an insult like "idiot" or "handicap"?
yes? I imagine so. would you not be more offended by someone calling you an drunkard than just "idiot"?

So you believe that there is a word inside every black person (or most black people since Yosher doesn't count) that is able to psychologically shut them down because they recalled the pains their grand grand parents had to go through? MLK and the human rights movement was about forgiving white people for racism and understanding that it was a mistake - why are you turning it into a revenge story or something?

I've never understood why that reasoning is supposedly ridiculous.
Here's a great way to think about that question: can a misogynist be married to a woman?

are you trying to say that there's no such thing as people who aren't transgender
I'm saying there aren't any other genders than male or female

Does a tribal have to be friends with a black person?

yes? I imagine so. would you not be more offended by someone calling you an drunkard than just "idiot"?

I'd be more offended by someone calling me a "manlet" because I'm insecure about my height. Also thanks for pointing out my personal life, because it's a great example of why the forget I can't understand this stuff. Even though alcoholism is something that has had a majorly traumatic and terrible effect on me, my family and my friends in the present rather than over a century ago before I was alive, it's not enough to make me seek out some sort of disciplinary justice or become aggressive towards somebody.

Because it's just a loving word. There is no logical reason for me to get upset about somebody completely irrelevant.

Actually i'm african american by blood and I permaban anybody on my server who uses that word in a tribal context. I'm okay with brother if used to denote a context of colleagueship or such

In society if you call a black person by that word you will be met with hostility. So why not on the internet?
Lynch 'im, boys!

Does a tribal have to be friends with a black person?
how did you even get this from my question
