How do you people with laptops even BUILD?!

but yeah, numpad is master race. makes life so much easier.
the other option is to put the plant brick button close to the spacebar (like g or something) and then use only mouse and g to bulid

I'm just going to say Badspot already has a laptop keyboard config in store, you just need to enable it.

Simply go to options, go to the control tab, press the "Defaults" button slightly below the middle of the tab and choose laptop keyboard.

i have a stuffload of client addons which is why I copied the config from my desktop onto the flashdrive and then onto the lappy.

I do not have the time nor patience to reset every keybind and I'd probably run out of keys on this laptop.

You only need to set the add-on keybinds, not every single control.

The non-default keybinds are, unfortunately, only your own business.

I'm typically used to the keyboard layout of a laptop. I just hate the trackpads. I use a wireless mouse.

its disgusting you even have a laptop without a numpad. if it really bothers you though, just get a usb numpad extension.

This probably doesn't apply to most laptops, but I once borrowed my brother's old laptop. It has no enter key on the numpad and the plant brick action on the control options was invisible. Play dm's on it instead.

I find it easier to use the laptop controls.  I still use them, even on a desktop.

I use the numpad to bind things like /wand, /fillcan, and /duplicator.

My old laptop had no numpad and it sucked richard. My new and current one does though and I'm still trying to get used to it, but it sure is alot better than the IJKL config

Go buy a cheapo usb numeric keypad? you can probably find some sub $15
